Who we are

This website is operated by Aequora Auditing, an auditing, accounting, tax and advisory firm based at 708, Garhoud Views Building, Al Garhoud, Dubai, UAE (“Aequora”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable UAE laws.

Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us, or that is needed to run the website securely:

• Enquiries and call-back requests — your name, email address, phone number, company, industry, licensing jurisdiction, approximate revenue, the services you are interested in, your preferred contact method and any message you write.
• Quote requests — your contact details plus the business information you enter in the pricing configurator (such as turnover, monthly transactions, payment term and selected services) and the resulting quotation.
• Job applications — your name, contact details, nationality, visa status, qualifications, experience, availability, salary information (if provided) and your CV.
• Technical information — our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

The free calculators and tools on the Resources page (for example the corporate tax calculator, payslip and invoice generators) run entirely in your browser. The figures and any logo you enter there are not sent to us.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry, call you back, or prepare and confirm a quotation you requested.
• To send you an automatic confirmation that we received your submission.
• To assess job applications and contact shortlisted candidates.
• To keep records of our communications and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix technical problems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making. We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked us to.

Why we are allowed to use it

We process your information because you asked us to (for example, to respond to an enquiry or prepare a quote), because you gave us your consent when you ticked the consent box on a form, or because we need to comply with legal obligations. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share it with

Your information is only shared with the people and service providers who need it to help us respond to you:

• Members of the Aequora Auditing team who handle your enquiry, quotation or application.
• Our website hosting and file-storage provider (Vercel), which hosts this website and securely stores CVs uploaded with job applications.
• Our email delivery provider, which sends form notifications to our team and confirmation emails to you.
• Government authorities or regulators where the law requires us to share it.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside the UAE. Where that happens we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quotation records for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the period required by UAE law for professional and financial records. CVs and application details are kept for up to 12 months after your application so we can consider you for suitable roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
• stop using your information where you previously gave consent.

To make a request, email hello@aequoraauditing.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the UAE Data Office.

How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Form submissions are sent directly to our team, uploaded CVs are stored at a private, randomly generated address that is shared only with our team, and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. The site uses your browser’s local storage only to remember choices you make — for example the service you opened or the progress of your quote — so they are still there when you come back. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
